How Booksy charges in Spain
Booksy costs €34.99 a month + VAT with the first employee included, and €8 a month + VAT per extra employee. For a three-chair shop that is €50.99 + VAT a month before any commission. Card processing is separate: 2% plus €0.15 on mobile payments, 0.99% plus €0.10 with Tap to Pay and 1.5% on instant payouts. There is no lock-in and the trial is seven days.
Boost: 30% of the first visit
Boost is Booksy's marketing feature. Activating it is free and it has no monthly fee, but every new client who arrives via the marketplace while Boost is on triggers a one-off charge of 30% of the total cost of their first visit. That client's later visits carry no commission. It is optional, which is why this calculator lets you switch it off. With Boost off, Booksy is a subscription and nothing more. With Boost on, the number that matters is not the percentage — it is how many clients it brings. Ten new clients a month with a €25 first visit is €75 in commission, on top of the subscription.
Booksy publishes no minimum for Spain
In the United States Booksy documents a $10 minimum and a $100 cap per Boost client. Its Spanish page shows no minimum and no cap, so this calculator applies neither: carrying a US figure into a euro invoice would be inventing it. Booksy also does not publish how it decides which client counts as «Boost». If a client finds you on Google and then searches your name in the Booksy app, there is no published rule saying whether that counts as a marketplace new client. It is worth asking before you switch Boost on.
What this calculator does not measure
It compares monthly cost, not features. It also leaves out card processing, which is separate on both platforms, and VAT, which applies equally to both. And it does not measure the value of Booksy's marketplace: it is the biggest in Spain and it does bring clients. The question this page answers is what it costs, not whether it pays off.
