Free barbershop and salon software, and actually free

If you work alone, trimly costs you €0 a month: no card, no trial period and no expiry date. It is not a cut-down version designed to make you pay eventually — it is the whole product for one chair. Here is what is included, what costs extra, and why it still works out for us.

What the free plan includes

All of this is included at €0 for as long as you are a single barber. No padlocked features and no monthly booking cap.

  • 24/7 online booking with your services, your prices and your hours
  • Your own booking website with your brand, your photos and your reviews
  • Your own domain (yourname.com), if you have one or want one
  • Card and Bizum payments, online or at the chair
  • Daily cash-up by payment method: cash, card and Bizum
  • Deposits at booking, so a no-show stops being free for the client only
  • VeriFactu built in: hash chain, QR on the receipt and an export for your accountant
  • 10 languages, including Spanish, Catalan, Galician, Basque and Arabic

What is not free

This is the part almost nobody puts on their pricing page, so we are putting it on ours.

WhatsApp messages. Confirmations and reminders go out over WhatsApp and each message spends a credit, which you buy in packs when you need them. Nothing else depends on it: if you never buy credits, your calendar and your site carry on working exactly the same.

The second barber. The moment you add someone else, the plan moves to No Limits: €19.99 a month with unlimited barbers, and it does not go up for each person you add. There is still no commission per booking.

So where is the catch?

The catch is that we are hoping you grow. A single barber costs us very little to serve and almost never needs support; if you hire someone one day, you move to €19.99 a month and that is where we make our money. In the meantime we take no commission on your bookings, we do not sell your clients to anyone, and we do not show the shop next door to someone who is in the middle of booking with you. And if you never grow, you stay free forever and nothing happens.

Everyone else's “free”

“Free” means very different things depending on who is saying it. Among the platforms we are usually compared with, this is where things stand in Spain today.

Fresha has charged no marketplace commission in Spain since 2024. That is true, and we say so on its calculator. What it does not have is a €0 plan: for a single professional, its Independent plan is paid.

Real cost of Fresha

Booksy has no free plan in Spain. You pay a monthly fee with the first employee included and, if you switch Boost on, a commission on the first visit of every client it brings you.
