Set up your shop with ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor

Connect trimly to ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor and ask it to create and set up your salon or barbershop's website: services, prices, hours, text and colours. It isn't a separate feature and it doesn't cost more: it's still free for one professional, and if you have a team, the No Limits plan costs the same with the assistant as without it, €19.99 a month. You approve the connection the first time, and you can cut it off whenever you want from your profile.

How to connect it

Takes under a minute.

  1. 1

    Open your assistant's connector settings

In ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor, look for the section where you add connectors or integrations. Each assistant names it a little differently, but it's always in its settings.

  2. 2

    Add the server address

Paste https://trimly.es/api/mcp as the connector's address. The assistant connects and sends you to sign in from your browser.

  3. 3

    Sign in and press Allow

Your browser opens: sign in to your trimly account, or create one if you don't have a shop yet, and press Allow to authorise the assistant. Press Deny instead, and nothing happens.

  4. 4

Ask it to create or set up your shop

Go back to the chat and type something like "create my hair salon's website". The assistant will ask you a few questions — name, services, hours — and publish it.

From here, any change you ask for goes live on your site right away, exactly as if you'd made it yourself from the admin panel.

Different assistant, different tap

All three connect the same way underneath. Only where you tap to add the connector changes.

ChatGPT

Settings → Connectors → Create, then paste the server address there.

Claude

Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste the server address there.

Cursor

MCP settings → add a server, then paste the server address there.

What the assistant can do

  • Create your shop from scratch: name, business type, services and hours.
  • Add, change or remove services and their prices.
  • Add people to your team and set their hours.
  • Rewrite your website's text and change its colours.
  • Turn on the languages your website shows, and change your address.
  • Change your booking rules: how much notice you require before a booking, how many days ahead someone can book, whether every booking needs your approval.

What it can't do yet

  • Upload your logo or your photos — that's still done from the admin panel.
  • Take any payment, or touch your billing or your payment details.
  • See or touch your clients or their appointments.

What it can see, what it can't, and how to disconnect it

  • The assistant sees your shop's configuration: services, hours, text, team. None of that is client data.
  • It cannot see your clients or your payments even if you ask it to — that part simply doesn't exist for it.
  • Every change it makes goes live on your website immediately, exactly as if you'd made it yourself from the admin panel.
  • You can cut the connection whenever you want, from your profile, under Connected apps. That revokes its access and it can't touch anything else after that.

Example prompts

Things you can ask it, word for word:

  • Create my hair salon's website, it's called Salón Ana and we're in Valencia.
  • Add a semi-permanent manicure service at 25 euros, 45 minutes long.
  • Change Thursday's hours to close at three in the afternoon.
  • Set my website's colours to green and white.
  • Turn on Catalan alongside Spanish on my website.
  • Add my sister to the team as a manager.

Frequently asked questions

How much does the assistant cost to use?

Nothing extra: it's still free for one professional, and if you have a team you pay the same as without the assistant, €19.99 a month.

Do I need a paid ChatGPT account?

That depends on the assistant you use, not on trimly: custom connectors are usually only available on paid ChatGPT or Claude plans. Check your own assistant's terms.

Can it delete my shop?

No. There is no tool to delete a shop, not for the assistant and not for anyone talking to it.

What if I already have a shop set up on trimly?

The assistant detects it and works with what you already have: it lets you add services, change hours or text, not create a second one on top.

Is it safe to connect?

Yes: the connection uses OAuth, the same standard other apps use to connect to your email or calendar. The assistant never sees your password, and you can revoke access whenever you want.

Which languages does it work in?

The assistant understands and replies in whatever language you write to it. This page is in Spanish and English, but you can ask it to set up your website in Catalan, Galician, Basque, Valencian, Portuguese, French, Ukrainian or Arabic just as well as in Spanish.
