How to sync your Google Calendar with trimly
If you have a class, a doctor appointment or anything else in your personal calendar, you do not need to copy it into trimly by hand. Connect your Google account once and those hours stop being offered to your clients automatically.
1. Open Horarios and find the Google Calendar card
Go to "Horarios" in the sidebar. If your shop has several barbers, pick your own name in the selector at the top — each barber connects their own account. The Google Calendar card is at the bottom of the page.

Only you can connect your own Google account, because it is a personal account. As the owner you can see your barbers’ status and disconnect them, but you cannot connect on their behalf.
2. Press "Conectar Google Calendar" and choose your account
Google asks which account you want to connect and to confirm access. Make sure you pick the account that actually holds your calendar — if you have more than one, this is the easiest mistake to make. When you come back, the card shows which address you connected with.

3. What trimly sees (and what it does not)
We only ask permission to see whether you are free or busy, plus your email address so we can show you which account is connected. We do not read your event titles, who is attending, or where they are. In trimly those hours simply appear as "Desde Google Calendar" — nobody on your team, and nobody here, sees what they are.
4. Check that it worked
Go back to "Horarios". Your busy hours for the coming days should appear under "Bloqueos de horario". On the calendar you will see them as grey striped bands carrying your name and your colour — in week view they sit alongside your time off, each one labelled.

5. Your clients can no longer book those hours
That is all you have to do. On your booking page the hours you are busy stop being offered, and days you have blocked out entirely show up greyed — without you touching anything else.

6. Mark events as "Busy", not "Free"
This is where almost everyone gets stuck. Google marks all-day events as "Free" by default — that is why birthdays do not block your day — and we respect that flag. If an event is marked Free, as far as trimly is concerned it does not exist.
Connected the account and nothing shows up? Open the event in Google Calendar and change "Free" to "Busy". It is the number one reason the sync looks broken when it is not.
7. How often it updates
We check your calendar every 15 minutes, looking 90 days ahead. If you edit, move or delete an event in Google, your trimly calendar catches up on its own within a quarter of an hour at most — there is nothing to press. We only read your primary calendar, so events on secondary or shared calendars do not count.
8. Pausing or disconnecting
The "Bloquear reservas con mi calendario" switch stops applying your calendar without unlinking the account — handy if you want to open those hours just this once. "Desconectar" removes the link and deletes the blocks that came from Google. Your Google calendar is never touched either way: trimly only ever reads it.
